Welcome to
KASUR
A city of Pakistan where more than 50,000 inhabitants and tanning industrial workers are at a risk of severe diseases including lung cancer, respiratory tract infection, diarrhea,  kidney failure, eye infection, skin diseases, T.B. memory lost and other chronic diseases. Despite of many efforts at both government and local level, Kasur remains under heavy environmental threat and health hazards.

This site aims to provide data and information to researcher and contributing NGOs for Environmental Self Governance through civil society  in  Kasur to increase environmental awareness and prepare health information database for Kasur city. Comments and suggestions are highly welcome.

The agency responsible for the waste management in Kasur.
Treatment Plant in Kasur
The treatment plant worth US $ 10.147 million has been constructed in Kasur with the cooperation of UNIDO, UNDP.  But the project does not address to solve the problem of groundwater pollution with chromium (VI) which is on of the main causes  of diseases among residents of Kasur.
