Introduction
Pakistan
Society of Geographic Information Systems (PSGIS) in Collaboration with
Pakistan Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) is
organizing 2nd International Conference on GIS at Aerospace
Institute, Islamabad, Pakistan from April 5 to 7, 2000. Main theme for
this Conference is “GIS in New Millennium”.
This
Conference will focus on the evolution and application of GIS in the last
two decades. Future prospects of GIS applications in resource management,
urban infrastructure development, environmental planning etc. will be highlighted
in this Conference.
Call
for Papers
Conference
will include presentations from authors working in all areas of GIS (theory
to applications) and related technologies, e.g. Remote Sensing, GPS etc.
Authors are invited to submit the abstracts of their presentations for
consideration. Abstracts addressing any of the following topics/areas may
be submitted in accordance with given guidelines and schedule:
