Graduate School [Doctoral Program - New Paradigm Course]
The Department of Social Engineering offers the doctoral New Paradigm Course for people aspiring to become up to date, and interdisciplinary researchers. This course is suited not only for people aspiring to become world-class researchers but also for current or future researchers at companies, government offices, and international organizations, the number of which is expected to increase in the near future. The course was nominated as one of the Initiatives for Attractive Education in Graduate Schools by the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture in 2005. This is one of the most prestigious programs in graduate schools all over Japan.

- The course is designed to increase logical thinking, sense of social ethics, social assessment capability, and communication skills. You will learn the most up to date economics and psychology as well as other social sciences. You will also be given the chance to get research experience at universities and research institutes worldwide, opening a new paradigm to learning.
