Masui lab has estimated the latent productivity of wheat in 2050 by using technology choice model, and economic model under the assumption that climate change will occur but the means of adaptation is different.

Economic valuation of reciprocity and global warming

Hidano lab has developed an experimental machine to verify the reciprocity, which is looking at whether human being response honestly to an honest activity. This research will allow to undertake an economic valuation of global warming based on the characteristics of human behavior.

Collaboration of coastal engineering and landscape architecture

Revision of traditional approaches like wave-dissipating blocks or tide wall for the high tide provision project in Beppu Oita prefecture. It is planned to start working in 2008 based on the Saito labs’ idea that collaborates the knowledge of coastal engineering and landscape architecture design.
